4 SKILLS YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS...
- PASSION
This is the most important personal skill to have in being successful in any industry. If you don’t love what you do you won’t feel satisfied. You must totally immerse your self into the fashion world. Read every fashion blog, read your favorite fashion magazines religiously and just put your self out there to the maximum.
- CREATIVITY
Fashion is part of the creative industry, if you don’t have some sort of creativity flowing through you, you simply will not understand. Creative people see the world from a different angle; they create different views and innovative ways of portraying something. You don’t have to be particularly creative to read the material produced but you definitely have to be in someway creative to get the message across.
Creativity is originality, imagination and ingenuity.
- MOTIVATION
This is the second most important skill to have to get you where you want to go. If you have all creativity and no motivation you are keeping all the ideas to your self and not doing anything about achieving goals. Motivation is the key to keeping a business off the ground, even when you feel like your not going any where but you’re trying everything to promote yourself you have to believe that all the hard work will pay off. Staying motivated is about balancing work and relaxation. When you start hitting goals give you self a pat on the back.
- CONFIDENCE
You have to believe in what you are saying or doing. You have to believe that you can make a difference, you can change the way people think about certain things. Believe in your ideas and go forward with them. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve your goals. If you are confident it will show through your work, your personality and you as a person. Roll with ideas that you think are great, show the world how amazing you are.
